Features
This pad is ergonomically designed for supporting patient in prostate position. With Acrylic reflecting mirror, clinical staff will monitor intubation and airway passage of patient on an ongoing basis. The pad is X-ray through and Latex free.
Directions For Use
- Remove protective film from mirror.
- Adjust mirror to ensure optimal view of patient’s face when in prostrate position.
- Intubate patient in the supine position.
- Place Prostrate Head Pad over patient’s face and introduce tubes through lateral opening on the pad.
- Hold Pad firmly against patient’s face whilst turning patient into the prostrate position.
- Place Prostrate Head Pad centrally on mirror.
- Check that patient’s face rests properly on the pad and ensure no pressure on eyebrow bone and no touching of patient’s nose on mirror.
- Confirm that patient’s body is in neutral position.
- Continually check for correct intubation and clear airway passage during surgery process.

- Do not expose to excessive cold or heat conditions.
