Precautions

  • Please read User’s Guide carefully before use.
  • Keep the pads flat in dry place, avoid direct sunlight and dust.
  • Avoid direct contact with hard or sharp objects.
  • Please DO NOT use the pads if any damage on the surface.
  • If the pad has Velcro, use a small brush to clean up the clutter in the Velcro regularly.
  • For prolonged surgeries, relax the areas prone to pressure ulcer for 5-10 minutes in every 2 hours.

Cleaning and Disinfection

  • For filth on the surface can be cleaned away with clear water and cleaner, alcohol can be applied. It is recommended to wipe the pad with medical wet wipes containing Quaternary Ammonium Salt.
  • It is recommended to use neutral or weak alkaline cleaner. For very dirty surface, it can be cleaned by concentrated cleaner, then use more water to rinse and dry it with a dry cloth.
  • If the pad is stained with fresh blood, please wipe it clean in time and disinfect it. For old blood stains, moisten them with lemom juice and saline for 1-2 minutes with a clean sponge, and then gently wipe them with a wracked wet towel for disinfection.
  • Avoid rubbing the pads hard during cleaning and disinfection.
  • Avoid high temperature and high pressure disinfection or fumigating.
  • Do not sterilize the pads with ultraviolet radiation.
  • Gas sterilization, autoclaving, washing machine, dryer or pro-longed soaking in disinfectants are NOT recommended.
